Fall Early Childhood Care and Education Capital Fund Ribbon Cuttings

The LISC Rhode Island Child Care and Early Learning Facilities Fund (RICCELFF) continues to travel the state to celebrate the opening of child care facilities supported by the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE)Capital Fund program. The ECCE Capital Fund was a state general obligation bond-funded grant program providing more than thirteen million dollars ($13,000,000)in funding for physical improvements to existing child care spaces and for the development of new licensed early childhood care and education facilities. This program was administered by LISC’s RICCELFF in partnership with the Department of Human Services (DHS), and both organizations attended ribbon cuttings for two large expansion projects earlier this fall.
