March 2023 eNews – Extended Deadline; New Online Training: Designing Early Child Care Centers; Gardening for Spring

The City of Providence’s Child Care and Early Learning Facilities Infrastructure Support program has extended it’s application deadline to May 19, 2023! This program offers a competitive pool of grants to expand access to high quality early learning facilities across Providence. A total of $1.5 Million is available for providers in facilities improvement grants.

Facilities Improvement Grants Include:

• Planning Grants to provide child care and early learning facilities with resources to develop a comprehensive indoor and/or outdoor facility plan.
• Capital Grants for moderate renovations to address issues related to licensing compliance, health and safety, and physical space barriers to quality improvement.
